New Delhi: Former Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli wrote a heartfelt note to the fans on Saturday when the franchise dropped out of IPL 2022 after losing in Qualifier 2 against Rajasthan Royals.
Famous Krishna (3/22) and Obed McCoy’s (3/23) thrilling bowling and then Jos Butler’s special knock (106 not out off 60 balls) led Rajasthan Royals to a seven-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2022 final. Qualifier 2 at Narendra Modi Stadium on Friday.
The 33-year-old Kohli, who did not have a great IPL season, said in his social media post that learning never stops.
“Sometimes you win, and sometimes you can’t, but the 12th Man Army, you are great, you have always supported us in our campaigns. You make cricket special. Learning never stops. (1/2),” Virat wrote. Twitter with IPL 2022 promotion pictures.

The batting star also thanked the RCB management and support staff. “Many thanks to the management, support staff, and all the partners in this amazing franchise. See you next season @RCBTweets #PlayBold (2/2),” he added.
In the last innings of this year’s IPL, Kohli lost to the famous Krishna bounce and caught an easy catch after scoring just 7 runs. Overall, he averaged 22.73 in 16 matches and scored just 341 runs at a strike rate of 115.99. IPL 2022.
Former India captain Virat along with Rohit Sharma and Jaspreet Bumrah have been rested and dropped from the home T20 series against South Africa. They will return to the field for the rescheduled Test against England at Edgbaston in Birmingham on 1 July.
