Yogi Adityanath’s Kashmir Analogy In UP Town That Saw “Hindu Exodus”

Yogi Adityanath said, “Criminals do not develop but destroy.”

Bulandshahr / Agra:

Stressing that the BJP would not compromise on security and development, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday alleged that the Samajwadi Party had published a “list of destruction” with the names of criminals as its candidate.

“They were dreaming of creating a Kashmir here through Kairana, for these elements we have said – Kashmir is now becoming a paradise and western Uttar Pradesh is reaching new heights of development,” Yogi Adityanta said as top BJP leaders including Union Home Minister Amit. Shah began a door-to-door campaign in the districts that went to the polls in the first round of the February 10 assembly elections.

Mr Shah was in Kairana in Shamli district on Saturday, where the BJP complained, witnessed the emigration of Hindus under the SP regime and met some of the affected families.

The chief minister said the law caught up with the mafia and rioters who had previously worked with impunity.

“For this, the right intention is needed and only the BJP has it,” he said, adding that only his party could ensure the rule of law, development for all and an end to the politics of complacency.

The Chief Minister highlighted the welfare work and said that the government has worked to save the lives and livelihoods of the people during the COVID-19 epidemic.

Attacking the Samajwadi Party, he accused its leaders of working for the prosperity of their families and neglecting the common man.

Yogi Adityanath said, “Looking at the SP’s list, it seems that it is a list of destruction, not development. Criminals do not develop, they destroy,” said Yogi Adityanath.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma, who met voters in Agra, said the Bharatiya Janata Party would remain in power for the next 20-25 years.

He told the people not to be tempted by the promise of free electricity, adding that the Samajwadi Party had failed to deliver on its election promises in the past.

He also taunted AIMIM leader Asaduddin YC.

“Those who say Yogi will go ‘Muth’ and Modi will go to ‘Himalayas’ should remember to pack their bags and he will not get a place in Hyderabad. He will also be removed from Hyderabad because Yogi will also reach Hyderabad,” Mr Sharma said. “Now every child in Uttar Pradesh (UP) is a Yogi and Modi.”

Mr. Sharma was campaigning for Agra Cantonment candidate Dr. GS Dharmesh, who is the current MLA for the reserved seat for SC / ST candidates.

In Kaushambi, Deputy Chief Minister Keshab Prasad Maurya also attacked SP chief Akhilesh Yadav for giving tickets to “criminals and thugs” and said the SP should release another list of candidates.

Maurya has reached Sirathu – his assembly constituency – and prayed at the temple of his mother Shitala Devi. Speaking to reporters here, Maurya claimed that the BJP would win more than 300 seats.

After winning the 2017 UP Assembly elections, the BJP has done development work without any discrimination, he said.

Maurya scoffed at Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Bhadra and said he could not find a candidate for his party.

Regarding the contest from Sirathu, the UP deputy chief minister said that in 2012, when the situation was not favorable for him, he won the election by a margin of 10,000 votes.

“This time, the situation is much more favorable, and the victory will be at record intervals,” he said.

Keshab Prasad Maurya was elected MLA from Kaushambir Sirathu in 2012. In 2014, he became a Lok Sabha MP from Phulpur constituency.

He was the head of the UP BJP in 2017 when the BJP won 312 out of 403 seats in the UP Assembly elections.
