Even though we are still amid the pandemic, people are finding ways to get on with their lives while maintaining the social distancing protocols. People who are getting married are especially coming up with some of the most innovative ways of having fun during the nuptials but safely.

A video of a Haldi ceremony that is doing the rounds on the internet proves the same. The clip that we are talking about was shared by restaurateur Harjinder Singh Kukreja. He tweeted the video with the caption, “Innovative Haldi ceremony with Social Distancing! This is a pre-wedding ceremony in India where Turmeric (haldi), oil & water are applied to the bride & groom by married women on the morning of the wedding. The mixture is believed to bless the couple before the wedding (sic).”

The 13-second video shows a bride amid her Haldi ceremony in Ludhiana. That is when a relative comes in and uses a long paint roller to apply turmeric on the bride. This way they maintain distance from each other and have fun at the ceremony too.

The clip was viewed over 6k times. It also got a lot of comments and retweets. Have a look at some of them:
