Virginia authorities have identified five of the six people killed Wednesday in a fatal shooting inside a Walmart by a store employee.

Chesapeake City said Lorenzo Gamble, Brian Pendleton, Kelly Pyle, Randall Blevins and Tyneka Johnson were killed Tuesday night when the suspected gunman, Andre Bing, opened fire inside the big box store.

The sixth victim is a 16-year-old boy. Authorities said Bing died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The ages of the other victims have not been released.

At least 50 people were believed to be inside the store when the shooting started, police said. Three people, including Bing, were found dead in an employee break room. Another person was found dead in front of the shop. Three other injured were taken to hospital where they later died, police said.

An overnight stalking group gathered in a break room when the gunman opened fire, a Walmart employee said.

“He was shooting all over the room,” Brianna Tyler said. “It didn’t matter who he hurt. He didn’t say anything. He didn’t look at anybody in particular.”

A witness also told WAVY that he heard the suspect laughing at one point and that he believes the shooting was planned.

Investigators have not determined a motive for the shooting. A Chesapeake police SWAT team searched Bing’s home but it’s unclear if anything significant was found.

Andre Bing, 31, is believed to have killed six people inside the Virginia Walmart where he was employed before killing himself, authorities said.

The Walmart store is expected to be closed for several days as investigators process the crime scene. The company said it has set up a collaborative resource center to offer counseling, meals and other services to workers and their families.
