The candidate has to download the Admit Card from the NTA website and appear for the examination at the given center as per the date, transfer, time and rules indicated in his admission form. No candidate will be allowed to appear at the examination center except on the date and time allotted in their admission card.

The UGC-NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycle tests will be held on 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30 and December 01, 03, 04, 05, 2021. Candidates will report for the examination. Enter the center two hours before the commencement of the examination so that the examination and registration formalities can be completed ahead of time.
Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination center after 8.30 am in the first shift and after 2.30 pm in the second shift.

Yesterday, on the 1st and 2nd day, the admission papers of the candidates have been published.
The test will be conducted in computer based test (CBT) mode only. The medium of question paper will be in English and Hindi only. Each question carries the number 02 (two). For each correct answer, the candidate will get 02 (two) marks. There are no negative signs for incorrect feedback.
Eligibility for the post of ‘Assistant Professor’ or ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ will depend on the performance of the candidate in both the papers of UGC-NET collectively. However, candidates who are exclusively eligible for the post of Assistant Professor will not be considered for the JRF Award.
Documents must be brought to the test center
– Printed copy of Admit Card downloaded from NTA website.
– A passport size photo (uploaded on the online application form)
– PwD certificate issued by the appropriate authority, claiming relaxation under the PwD section.
