Ubi sets new record, uses results ready in 30 days – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Educational institutions across the country are closed due to the impact of the Kovid-19 epidemic, but the University of Delhi (UB) worked around the clock to prepare the results of the graduation course examinations held in June this year and burned oil at midnight.

The university has set a new record under which the results of all undergraduate courses have been prepared within a month of the examination being held. This is the first time since its inception that the university has taken less than 30 days to prepare the results of undergraduate courses.

Not only that, the results of a few courses were prepared within 2 days of the exam. The single regular undergraduate course alone has more than 73,000 students. In addition to these, thousands of other students took part in the exams held in June 2020.

The university said that so far the results of 4 different undergraduate (UG) courses have been prepared.

The results of the remaining 10 courses are also being compiled. University staff are working late into the night on Saturdays and Sundays, even on holidays, to announce the results.

“The last exam was held on June 26, and since then 8 per cent results have been prepared for the UG course. Only 56 copies of the Bachelor of Arts (BA) course remain to be examined at the University of Delhi,” DS Rawat, dean of the DB exam, told IANS.

According to him, the results of 11,7799 students following the BA program will be announced by Monday and the results of all the other nine courses as well as all other courses may be announced by Tuesday.

“For the first time in the history of DB, the results of all UG courses will be announced within a month. The results of the BA program along with the rest of the courses will be announced in 2-3 days,” said DB Dean of Examinations.

Rawat said, “This time a provision was made in which the information obtained by the colleges has to be verified by the concerned teachers through online mode. So the information obtained was more than 95 per cent accurate. During the March Open Book Examination (OBE), I will complete the assessment on time.” “We announced the testimonials. Certificates were issued for the March OBE before the June assessment began. It wasn’t that easy, but we did it. It worked really well.”

This time UBI has formed a 14-member committee to monitor the progress of the assessment. Their job was to follow the assessment at every stage of the assessment, send messages, make phone calls, etc.

The U.S. Department of Examinations says the results of this effort are in front of us. It usually takes 3-4 months to announce all the results of the UG course. “Last year we asked the court for four months but this time the university has set a new record.”

The Delhi University Examinations Department is also releasing the results of this year’s confidential examinations. The results of this test are for students admitted to foreign universities. Confidential results are being sent directly to foreign universities. The first confidential result was published in 3021, 2021, just two days after the test.

These confidential results are not made available to students but the final exam results are sent directly to the university or the concerned department. According to Rawat, the confidential results of all the students who were still in need have been sent to the respective universities.
