Aryabhata College set the highest cut-off for Psychology (H) at 98.59%, followed by Economics (H) and 96% for both English and Political Science (H).

For the consistently high cut-offs for political science and psychology, Sinha is due to the fact that these two courses are in high demand in terms of a wide range of career opportunities. “Candidates with degrees in political science can choose courses related to international relations and public policy. In addition, a degree in political science equips students with the skills to be political analysts, commentators. They can expect a career in journalism. The issue helps them to better prepare for the Civil Service Examination and other state-level Public Service Commission examinations, ”said Sinha, a professor of political science.
