Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding to create an integrated learning model: Dr. Jitendra – Times of India

Jammu: The Indian Institute of Management, Jammu has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with AIMS Jammu and a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding has been signed with MIS Jammu and IIT Jammu.

The chief guest presided over the function was Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) (Independent Responsibility) and so on.

The goal of the MoUs is to create an academic think tank to give new opportunities to faculty and students and to promote inclusive education among scholars. During the proceedings of the event, Dr. Singh Singh unveiled the MoU and outlined in his speech that Jammu has set an example for other states in the country. He believes that ‘working in silo’ prevents the best use of our resources and knowledge and is therefore the new mantra of collaborative success.

He said, “Through a joint memorandum of understanding between AIIMS, IIM, IIT and the University of Jammu, #Jammu today has taken the first major step towards creating an integrated education model that can be further developed by involving more academic institutions and startups, industries and other stakeholders. .

On his microblog, Dr. Jitendra Singh tweeted today, “Right now, in #Jammu, it is making history for academics. AIIMS Jammu, IIT Jammu, IIM Jammu and the University of Jammu to collaborate among themselves in academic teaching and research. Memorandum of Understanding is in the process of being signed.

Earlier, a memorandum of understanding was signed between IIM Jammu and AIMS Jammu by IIM Jammu Director Prof BS Sahay and AIIMS Executive Director and CEO Dr Shakti Kumar Gupta. Prof. BS Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, Dr. Manoj Singh Gaur, Director, IIT Jammu and Shakti Gupta, Executive Director and CEO, AIMS signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the two organizations.

Professor BS Sahay talks about the integration of technology, medical science and management, as one of the main goals of the National Education Policy 2020 and how it will lead to the improvement of multidisciplinary education.

In his speech, Dr Mil Milind Kamble referred to Jammu as a center of higher learning and highlighted the great educational potential of historic historical collaboration between institutions.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Lieutenant Colonel Prabhat Sharma, Deputy Director (Administration), AIMS, Jammu.
