“In America, there is an ongoing debate between two groups on the same issue. India has different views. The answer, an immediate answer, is not the situation,” Sen said. Regarding the model of assessment in the current situation, the economist said that acquiring and sharing knowledge is more important.
“Even if we insist on evaluation, we have to remember that this is the last thing. Acquiring and sharing knowledge comes first. There is reason to believe that the issue should be viewed from different angles and perspectives.”

Asked about threats to the environment, he said either the world is aware of the problem and knows the solution but is not moving in the right direction or the threadbare needs to be discussed to find directions to resolve the crisis.
“The environment is an integral part of every job, every step we take,” he said.
Sen, who is currently a professor at Thomas W. Lamont University, and a professor of economics and philosophy at Harvard University, emphasizes the use of alternative energy resources, such as solar and nuclear, to protect the environment.
