Jaipur: The Rajasthan Eligibility Test (RET) for teachers will be held on September 2 this year as per the directions of the state government. This is the sixth time that the state government has announced the dates for the REET exam and the candidates are hopeful that the exam will be held by the end. Candidates will compete for 31,000 seats for third-class teachers.

A total of 16,40319 applications have been received for RET-2011 conducted by Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education. Of these, 33331171 candidates have applied for the first level, 3 level3719 for the second level and 913133 candidates for both the levels.

A total of six times, the REET exam date was postponed. Lastly, the exams were postponed from 2020, 2021 due to the effects of the second wave and the government was concerned about the safety of the epidemic students. Moreover, applications for EWS quota were not invited.

School Education Minister Govinda Singh Dotsra tweeted, “It has been decided to conduct the test on September 26. Applications from EWS candidates will be accepted from June 21 to July 5. The Board of Secondary Education will soon issue a revised press release. ”

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot further informed the candidates, “The state government has decided to withdraw the SLP filed in the Supreme Court against the High Court order to issue a waiting list on English in Reit Recruitment 2019ET. With this decision the candidates will be recruited to the waiting list. Sincere congratulations to all the candidates. ”
