Modi was addressing the inaugural conference of the 10-day ‘Shikshak Parva’ via video conferencing, where he said that in order to make India’s education sector world-class, the teaching-learning process in the country needs to be constantly redefined and redesigned.
As part of the Education Festival, entitled ‘Quality and Sustainable Schools: Learning for Schools in India’, the Prime Minister launched the National Digital Architecture (N-DAR), which he said could play a major role in eliminating inequality in education and modernizing it. He introduced the Indian Sign Language Dictionary (audio- and text-embedded sign language video for the hearing impaired, in line with the Universal Design of Learning), the talking book (audiobook for the visually impaired), and the school quality assurance and assessment framework. CBSE, Dedication Teacher Training Program for Nipun Bharat and Vidyanjali Portal (for the benefit of volunteers / donors / CSR contributors in education development).

Expressing confidence that these will not only make our education system globally competitive but also prepare the future of the youth, Modi said, “In this rapidly changing age, our teachers also need to learn new methods and techniques quickly.”
“If we are in a period of change, fortunately, we also have a modern and futuristic new national education policy. These conversions are not just policy-based, but participatory.
Prime Minister Modi appreciated the contribution of academics, experts and teachers at every stage in the formulation and implementation of NEP. He called on all to take this participation to a new level and involve the society in it. “During Kovid, we witnessed the potential of our education sector. There were many challenges, but you solved them all. Online classes, group video calls, online exams, many have not heard before, ”he added.
The Prime Minister also recalled the performance of our athletes in the recently concluded Olympics and Paralympics and expressed happiness that the athletes have complied with his request that every athlete go to at least 5 schools during the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. “It will inspire students and encourage many to take up sports as a profession,” he said.
