The JEE Main Session 3 exam will start from July 20, important instructions – Times of India

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the JEE (Main) session from Tuesday 3 or April 2021. NTA Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2021, 20, 22, 25 and 2 July Registered for the April Session (Session-3), 2021. Session suspended in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode at various centers located in 334 cities of the country and abroad. Total number of candidates – 3 is 709519.

Candidates who do not have valid admission will not be allowed to appear for the examination under any circumstances by the Superintendent of the Center. Candidates can still download their admission from given below.

Candidates who have applied for Biploch as well as Biplanning will have a test period of 3.30 hours. That is from 3 pm to 6:30 pm

Candidates are advised to report well before the start of the test in time i.e. 2 hours before the start of the test.


Examiners will take their seat as soon as the examination hall opens. Candidates may miss some of the general instructions announced in the examination halls / halls if they do not report in time due to any reason like traffic jam, train / bus delay etc.

Candidates need to download / print the card to enter the examination room / hall from NTA website on demand basis.

Test Center staff in charge are authorized to verify the identity of the candidates and can take steps to verify and verify the identity certificates.


A seat indicating the roll number will be allotted to each candidate. Candidates who change the room / hall or own seat instead of the allotted candidate only have to look and sit in the allotted seat, the candidature will be canceled. In this case no application will be entertained.

The candidate has to ensure that the question paper in the computer is in accordance with his / her choice mentioned in the admission card.

Candidates can go to the Center Superintendent / Invigilator in the room for any technical assistance, first aid emergency or any other information during the examination.


Examinations must be brought to the examination center at the following centers on the day of examination.

Candidates who do not bring these will not be allowed to sit for the examination.

1) Print copy of admission card downloaded from NTA website.

2) A passport size photograph (same as the one uploaded on the online application form) should be taken during the examination to be pasted at the specified place of attendance sheet in the center.


3) Any one of the approved photo IDs (original, valid, and must be expired) – School Identity Card / PAN Card / Driving License / Voter ID / Passport / Aadhaar Card (with photograph) / Photograph / Ration Card with Aadhaar Photograph Bank passbook with photograph / photograph along with 12th class board admission card

4) PWD certificate issued by an authorized medical officer, if relaxation is sought under the PWD section or

PWD certificate regarding physical limitation in an examination to write if relaxation is claimed under the PWD section.
