‘Sidhu missing’ posters surface in Amritsar; promise Rs 50k reward to trace him | India News – Times of India

Amritsar: A large number of posters appeared on the street walls of the Amritsar East assembly constituency on Wednesday, saying MLA from the constituency Navjot Sidhu has gone “missing”.
The poster also announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for tracing the MLA and bringing him back to the constituency.
The posters were pasted by an NGO, ‘Dhan Dhan Baba Deep Singh Ji’, which read, “Congress MLA Navjot Singh Sidhu is missing”.
NGO’s representative Anil Kumar Vishisht Bunty alleged that Sidhu was inaccessible to the residents of Amritsar East assembly constituency.
He also alleged lack of development in the area and claimed that anywhere in this assembly constituency one can see garbage dumps and water stuck on the roads.
He further alleged that his wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu was also not available.
Bunty accused the Sidhu couple of not doing anything for the development of the constituency.
This is not the first time that posters of Sidhu’s disappearance have surfaced in Amritsar.
Posters of Sidhu’s disappearance had surfaced ten years ago when he was a BJP MP.
The posters were pasted at that time by Congress Municipal Councilor Raman Bakshi, who is currently the Senior Deputy Mayor of Amritsar Municipal Corporation.
