Apart from this, Dayal Singh (Evening) College has fixed a cut-off number of up to the .5 per cent for admission in B.Com (Hons) program. Ubi Rajdhani College has set its BA Economics and B.Com Honors cut-off marks up to 98 percent. Several colleges affiliated to the varsity have decided to offer one per cent discount for female students. In 2020, Lady Shri Ram College announced 100% cut-off number for the admitted students. Professor Hansraj Sumon of UB said that if we look at the cut-off lists published in 2020, the cut-off lists will remain unchanged this year as well.
Compared to 2020, the number of students getting marks from 5 to 100 percent in their CBSE Class 12 exams has increased significantly this year. This has resulted in a sharp increase in the numbers published in the cut-off list published by various colleges affiliated to the colleges.
According to the UB administration, all the cut-off lists will be published on the official website of the varsity. Following the publication of the first cut-off list, the admission process will begin on October 4 and run until November 15.
UB cut October will publish the second cut-off list and October 1 will publish the third cut-off list, followed by a special cut-off list on October 25. The fourth cut-off list will be published on October0. The final and fifth cut-off list will be released in November.
According to PC Joshi, acting vice-chancellor of the university, the number of seats in all the colleges affiliated to the varsity is likely to increase this year.
The admission process is being conducted entirely online and UBI has already started the admission process to fill 70,000 seats in UG courses.
In this year’s CBSE class exams, a large number of students got marks above 95 percent. According to Ubi, the college enrollment rate may increase compared to previous years. The published merit lists of many colleges affiliated with the varsity may increase further this year.
