New Delhi: Pushkar Singh Dhami was on Sunday sworn in as the 11th Chief Minister of Uttarakhand.
He was sworn in by Governor Baby Rani Maurya at a function held at Raj Bhavan in Dehradun.
BJP MLAs Satpal Maharaj, Harak Singh Rawat, Bansidhar Bhagat and Yashpal Arya were also sworn in as ministers in the new Uttarakhand cabinet.
Bijan Singh Chufal, Subodh Uniyal, Arvind Pandey, Ganesh Joshi, Dhan Singh Rawat, Rekha Arya and Swami Yatishwarananda were also sworn in.

They were all part of the previous cabinet.
Dhami, 45, was elected to the top post in the BJP legislature on Saturday.

According to the report, several senior leaders of the Uttarakhand unit were dissatisfied with Dhami’s height and feared that several ministers in the old cabinet would not show up.
The BJP spent most of the morning trying to calm down the senior leaders by going into damage control mode.
Before taking the oath, Dhami himself met several leaders who were said to be mourning his appointment.
Dhami met Satpal Maharaj at his residence in Dalanwala and gave him a bouquet of flowers.
As of Saturday, he is believed to have persuaded the veteran leader, who had half-a-dozen names, to become a potential chief minister.
Dhami replaces Tirath Singh Rawat, whose four-month term ended amid uncertainty surrounding the election commission in the state. Rawat, a BJP MP, had to be elected as MLA within six months of taking office.
Dhami is now the youngest Chief Minister of the Hill Tracts.
