The longtime royal correspondent and friend of the late princess is inaugurating a new documentary titled “Diana” airing in the UK on Thursday night

Harry previously recalled the last phone call with his mother on the ITV and HBO documentary “Our Mother Diana: Her Life and Legacy” which was broadcast in 2017 on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of her death.
The brothers admitted that their last phone call with Diana was brief. At the time, the siblings were eager to return to play with their cousins in Balmoral, the Scottish retreat of their grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
Harry quoted People magazine as saying, “If I only knew that this was the time I would talk to my mother – the things I would tell her.”
“There’s not a day that William and I don’t hope she’s still there, and we’re wondering what kind of mother she’s going to be now, and what kind of public role she’ll have and what difference will it make?” Harry added.

The brothers are expected to reunite at Kensington Palace on July 1 to unveil a statue in honor of the mother. The date was Diana’s 60th birthday.
On June 4, Harry and his wife Meghan Markle welcomed a daughter named Lilibet “Lily” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. The child is eighth in line with the British throne.
The name pays homage to both Harry and Grandma, whose family nicknames are Lilibet and his late mother.
