Vin Raj Modi, vice-president of the Association of Unaided Private Schools, said most schools are currently taking quarterly exams through online mode.

“So, such schools have not been open since Monday. However, some schools resume classes. In private schools, only 25 percent of parents have consented to their children’s physical attendance. They will start coming to school after the end of the three-monthly exams,” he said. Modi said.

Sixth to twelfth grade schools, with a 50 percent attendance cap per day, started earlier.

The MP, on Sunday, recorded eight Covid-1 cases, bringing the number to 7,92,394, while the active number was 96.
