Piyush Chanduka OJ has become the 2021 BTech Topper – Times of India

Bhubaneswar: The results of the Orissa Joint Entrance Test (OJEE-2021) were released here on Wednesday. Piyush Chanduka from Bhubaneswar was the topper of the BTech course.

Skills Development and Technical Education Minister Premananda Nayak unveiled the results booklet here on Wednesday evening.

Piyush, a resident of Bhubaneswar’s Garage Table, has completed Class XII from Kendriya Vidyalaya-6. “I am happy that I got Rank 1 in BTech course in OJEE-2021. I will choose computer science,” he added.

He said his preparation for JEE Main has helped him achieve this. Now he is concentrating on the JEE Advanced exam to be held in October. The previous year’s questions will help you practice, ”said Piyush, the son of a trader in Unit-1 Market.

Lakshmi Priya Senpati, a resident of Bhimatangi in Bhubaneswar, became the first in the BPHM course. “I was coaching for the NEET exam. I took the NEET exam with OJEE-2021. I am happy that I was the first in the BPharm course in my first attempt, ”said Senapati, who has completed Class XII from DAV Pokhariput here.

Ashutosh Roth became the first in the entrance examination of MBA course. Similarly, Pinkinarani Sahu topped the Lateral Entry in BTech (Diploma), Nishikanta Parida for MCA, K Sanjana Subodhi for M Farm, Pranab Chandra Bindhani for M Arch, Rudra Prasad Rath for Integrated MBA, Biswajit Soy for M Plan and BSc) to Deepak Sa. Also, 11 candidates are top in various specialties of M Tech.

This year, 65,763 candidates were registered for the exam. “Of them, 49,360 candidates took part in the exam. Eighty-one candidates did not get any rank in their respective courses according to their performance in the exam, ”OJE sources said.

OJEE Chairman SK Chand said that for the first time, test centers have been set up in 30 districts of the state with 57 test centers. It was conducted at three centers outside Orissa. OJEE was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for all courses.

OJE is usually conducted in May, but this year the government has delayed the test due to the Covid-1 situation. It was conducted from 6 September to 18 September.
