New Delhi: The Board of Secondary Education, Orissa has released the Admit Card for Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET) 2021 Phase 2.

Candidates who have applied for the OSSTET 2021 Exam can download their Admission Card online through the official website – http://www.bseodisha.ac.in/ – Candidate Login.

Earlier, the board extended the last date for submission of online application for OSSTET-2021 (2nd) to January 10, 2021.

English – 20 marks

B) Number 05 from a poem

C) Grammar and usage 07 number

d) Speaking (usually a mispronounced word) 03 number

Test to understand the lessons of an unseen passage:


1) Global questions (skimming to get summary)

2) Real questions (scanned to identify specific information)

3) Referential Question (What is ‘a pronoun’ in the given passage stands for)

4) Assumptions Question – Draw assumptions based on context


1. Vocabulary – Antonyms, synonyms

2. Use of language

To test the comprehension of reading a poem through:

1. Global questions

2. Real questions

3. Vocabulary of the text – the opposite word, synonym, which is meant in the text

4. Hypothetical questions

5. Praise questions about rhyme etc.


Grammar and usage tests in the following cases:

1. prepositions

2. Direct and indirect speech

3. Passive

4. Tomorrow

5. Marking or error in a sentence

6. Fresal verbs

7. Clause Patterns

8. Punctuation

1) Visit Official BSE, Odisha Website – http://www.bseodisha.ac.in/

2) Click on the OSSTET Admit Card download link provided on the homepage


3) A new page will appear on your screen, enter your application registration number and DOB.

4) Your credentials will be displayed on the screen of your device.

5) Check your entry form and download.

6) Take a printout of the entry form for further reference.
