New Delhi: The Orissa Public Service Commission (OPSC) has issued a notification for the post of Assistant Director (Law) in Group-B of the Orissa Secretariat Services under the Home Department.

Appointment of OPSC Assistant Director (Law): Age limit


A candidate must be 23 years of age and not be over 35 years of age on January 1, 2021, i.e., he must not have been born before January 2, 1986 and after January 1, 1998,

Appointment of OPSC Assistant Director (Law): Educational Qualification

A candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized university and have knowledge of computer applications on the date of application.

OPSC Assistant Director (Law) Appointment: Examination Fee

A candidate has to pay only Rs.500 / – non-refundable and unregulated fee. Candidates of SC and ST and PwD of Orissa are exempted from paying this fee.

OPSC Assistant Director (Law) Appointment: Selection Procedure

The examination will be held in the following phases: –


Written test – 360 marks

Proficiency Test in Computer Applications (Practical) – Number 40 Viva Voice Test – Number 50

The eligibility mark for the written test is 45% for UR and SEBC candidates and 40% for each paper for SC & ST candidates.
