Speaking on the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor recalled the various steps taken by the government to develop the education sector in the Union Territory.


“J&K is the best in the country in terms of education infrastructure. We are reforming the education ecosystem, bridging the gaps and opening up new opportunities for new generations to take on innovative challenges and be transformative,” he said.

He said the whole world has changed since the Kovid epidemic.

“I believe that opportunities have also brought dynamic change. In particular, the government is creating a capacity with new policies to empower young people and give special impetus to industrial growth,” he said.


The Lieutenant Governor called on young innovators to focus on new innovations that would change the lives of a common man.

“Now is the time for us to come up with environmentally friendly innovations and creative solutions to address issues such as environmental protection, exploring alternative sources of energy and strong road materials. This will complement the government’s efforts to achieve development goals,” he said.

Sinha asked NIT administration and faculty members to take the necessary steps to develop a vibrant and entrepreneurial environment as well as to take the necessary steps to strengthen the institute-industry link to encourage job creation and create new start-up initiatives to create better opportunities for our young generation.
