5. The principal was one of the first twenty principals in the country to conduct virtual inspections of schools by CBSE.

The learning crisis caused by Covid-19 has served as a catalyst for innovation at DPSBN. ENTRAR, the school’s in-house LMS, has become a secure online platform for conducting online classes. As CSR, DPSBN supported Grameen Vidyalaya in Badagandi. More than 4000 training programs were adopted by teachers as CPD.

Teachers were given the “work from anywhere” option, and paid leave for caregivers of Covid-19 affected or Covid patients. Zero rates of employment were confirmed during the epidemic.

Vaccination campaign was conducted for all the stakeholders in collaboration with Manipal Hospital. Financial assistance and COVID protection kits were provided to many COVID care centers across Karnataka.
