1. Selected by CBSE to be a part of the initiative to analyze CBSE assessment instrument jointly with Azim Premji University.
2. The principal led a team to review the science curriculum structure and design the diagnostic assessment questions under the supervision of CBSE.
3. The principal was hired as a consultant on the SQAA Pilot Program.
4. The school was invited to prepare a manual for CBSE on integration of sports and peace in education.
5. The principal was one of the first twenty principals in the country to conduct virtual inspections of schools by CBSE.
6. One of five schools for curriculum review evaluation, online examination and board tabulation.
7. Invited by DPS Society to share best practices in inclusive education, Indian heritage and culture and online use of tools in mathematics and science.
8. Lead School for Peer Aid Program
9. One of the schools selected for the NAS exam.
The learning crisis caused by Covid-19 has served as a catalyst for innovation at DPSBN. ENTRAR, the school’s in-house LMS, has become a secure online platform for conducting online classes. As CSR, DPSBN supported Grameen Vidyalaya in Badagandi. More than 4000 training programs were adopted by teachers as CPD.
Teachers were given the “work from anywhere” option, and paid leave for caregivers of Covid-19 affected or Covid patients. Zero rates of employment were confirmed during the epidemic.
Vaccination campaign was conducted for all the stakeholders in collaboration with Manipal Hospital. Financial assistance and COVID protection kits were provided to many COVID care centers across Karnataka.
DPSBN strives to create a culture that celebrates relationships, embraces diversity and promotes inclusion in all fields. Surviving the “self-service” policy, their goal is to create a just and sustainable world for all.
