Congratulating the new graduates, the Minister said that the University is financing 55 of its registered PhD students who are being advised by the faculty with strong record of publication in reputed national and international journals. In his inaugural address, Vineet Jain, Managing Director of Bennett, Coleman & Co Ltd and Chancellor of Bennett University, said that India’s future as a superpower depends a lot on education and employment. Jain said, “The decision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister to hand over the two portfolios in his hands to Shri Pradhan is a recognition of the close interrelationship between the two.”

The five Chancellor’s Medal recipients were honored. BBA student Hardik Agarwal won the gold medal and Sejal Bhatnagar (BBA), Siddhanta Iyer (BTech), Aditya Mishra (BA, J&MC) and Tunap Paul (BTech) won the silver medal. The top nine of the 2021 batch were awarded the Vice-Chancellor’s Gold Medal.
Across its four distinct schools – Engineering and Applied Sciences, Law, Times School of Media and Management and Liberal Arts – Bennett University has more than 20 degree programs, more than 150 faculty members and 3,000 students. Four hundred students are graduating this year.
