To rethink the country’s education context, the Modi government has launched NEP, 2020 based on capacity, accessibility, equality and quality. “It is not merely a policy but a vision document for our future that aims to establish a student-centered education system by empowering students with flexibility and empowerment of choice.”

He said that as IIT Bhubaneswar is a leading educational institution in Odisha, it should lead the effective implementation of NEP, 2020 and pave the way for holistic and multifaceted education and thereby help the poorer sections of the society.

In the spirit of ‘Nation First’, the youth will be the torchbearers of a self-reliant India in the 21st century. Pradhan said the central government has taken various steps to provide opportunities to our youth by assisting the higher education institutions in all possible ways.

The Minister expressed happiness over the inauguration of the largest lecture complex and hostel in Orissa and hoped that the additional infrastructural facilities would enable the students to strive for greater excellence.
