The Center formed a three-member committee after the Supreme Court raised serious objections to whether any study was done at all before setting a limit of Rs 8 lakh for setting EWS.
Earlier, the apex court had asked the Center to suspend counseling for NEET-PG until it validated the Centre’s decision to introduce OBC and EWS reservation in All India Quota (AIQ).
