According to the Orissa report, about 10,967 candidates appeared for the NEET exam at 16 centers in Bhubaneswar. The test was conducted in a total of 16 cities in the state. The NEET (UG) – 2021 exam has a question paper with 180 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology).

According to the initial feedback from the test takers, who took the test, the test was easy.

“The overall paper was easy,” said Rahul Singh, who took part in the NEET exam at a center in Rohini. He found the physical part of the paper a bit difficult, while biology was easy for him.

Prachi Singh, who took the test at a government school in Deendayal Upadhyay Marg, said the biology part of the paper was the easiest, while physics seemed a bit difficult to him. He answered about 5 (out of 90) questions in biology and tried about 0 questions in physics and chemistry.

“The biology question was based on NCERT, the physics was high level. The chemistry was fine but the physics was a bit difficult,” Singh said.

Another student, Ankit, said chemistry was moderately difficult while the paper was very easy. He is optimistic about passing the test.

Arif Ahmed, a biology teacher at Miles Bronson Residential School in Guwahati, said most students are comfortable with the biology part of the NEET paper. He, however, opined that the chemistry part was moderate and the physics part was very difficult for the students. “There was a lack of test consciousness among many students due to delays due to epidemics,” Ahmed said.

Divyaprasad Satpathi, Dean (Science), Sai International School Bhubaneswar, said the overall paper was moderate. “Biology was a little easier. Physics and chemistry papers were little but difficult compared to last year. Physics and chemistry questions were long and students’ time was not smooth when answering. This time physics was harder, while chemistry was easier than physics papers. ”
