ABU AB: Captain Rohit Sharma wrote an emotional note after the Mumbai Indians’ last match in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 on Saturday.
Mumbai Indians ended their IPL 2021 campaign with a 422-run win over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Friday.
The Mumbai Indians, who won the 2019 and 2020 editions of the IPL, are in fifth place this season.

Returning to the game on Friday, Ishan Kisan and Suryakumar Yadav ensured the victory of Mumbai Indians by scoring and and 822 runs respectively.
Chasing 26, SRH quickly came out of the block as Jason Roy and Abhishek Sharma opened the innings with 64 runs. However, the Mumbai Indians were able to hit the powerplay as Trent Bolt dismissed Roy for 34 runs.
Jimmy Nisham and Piyush Chawla lost three more wickets for spo runs, dismissing Abhishek, Mohammad Nabi and Abdul Samad.
Priyam Garg and SRH stand-in captain Manish Pandey, then added 56 runs together before Garg was out. While Manish, who had to bat through cramps, scored a great half-century during his captaincy debut, the Mumbai Indians limited SRH to 193/8.
