More than 51 lakh students to appear for UP board exams next year – Times of India

Prayagraj: The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UP Board) has started the process of UP Board High School and Intermediate Examination-2022 where more than 51 lakh students are expected to attend.

According to state education officials, about 2.70 million students have registered for the high school exams, including about 1,000 private candidates. Similarly, about 2.4.22 lakh students have registered for the intermediate examination, out of which 1.1 lakh are private candidates.

In terms of advance registration, .11.1 lakh students have registered for 9th class and another 2.0.04 lakh this time for 11th class, officials said. “The last date for filling up online forms for UP Board’s High School and Intermediate Examination-2022 was October 1. Similarly, the last date for advance registration for 9th and 11th classes for UP Board affiliated schools was October 1,” said UP Board Secretary Divyakanta Shukla. .


After the completion of this important process, the state government is expected to issue a policy soon to determine the examination centers for Class X and XII, according to which the examination centers will be allotted in 2022. The UP board had already sent a proposal for the examination of this session, officials said, adding that it was the policy of the state government to determine the center for approval and approval.

The number of registered candidates for the 2022 edition of high school and intermediate examinations has decreased by about 5 lakh as compared to last year. In the 2021 edition of the exam, a total of 56,03,813 candidates were registered for the board exam, of which 12,94,312 were for the class exam and the other was for 26,09,501.

Although the last date for registration of UP Board has been extended once, the number of candidates has decreased. The last date for filling up the online form for class 12 and 10th exams of 2022 without late fee was 1. October. Forms were accepted till 1st October with a late fee of Rs.100. Earlier, the last date was October.


The principals of the schools affiliated to the UP Board will now check and select the online filled forms of the students registered as a checklist from October 20 to October 23. From October 24, schools will have the opportunity to correct incorrect details of the form. October 30.
