Maharashtra SSC assessment pattern released, expected results till end of June – Times of India

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) released the details of SSC assessment methodology on Friday.

Following are the important points and highlights:

  • 100 marks will be awarded for each subject as per the following break-up:
  • Internal score based on year-round performance – 30 marks
  • Home work / oral / practical based assessment – 20 marks
  • Fifty percent marks of ninth grade

Students who are not satisfied with this evaluation method and its result can sit in the class improvement examination conducted after the condition of Kovid is normal.

A seven-member committee headed by the principal will be constituted by each school to monitor SSC results. Any disturbances at the school level will be fined and disciplinary action will be taken.

MSBSHSE also said that the state board exam results will be declared by the end of June. The evaluation process for schools and the timetable for completing it will be announced soon.

The evaluation pattern for external students, repeaters and students attempting certain subjects will also be decided soon.

Optional CET will be conducted for admission on the basis of SSC syllabus for 100 marks in MCQ pattern for 2 hours.

Students who attempt the entrance examination will be given preference for FYJC admission and if there is any seat left, then students who do not attempt the entrance examination will be given the chance of admission on the basis of Class X assessment.
