Addressing the media, Narayan announced that the practical exams for odd semesters (01-03-05) will be held on July 26-27 and the theory exams for 01, 0, 05 and other semesters. 22- August 21. Even the practical exams of the semester (2-04-06) will be held from 2nd November to 12th November and the theory exams of the same semester will be held from 17th November to 12th December.

Degree course examinations for odd semesters (which were fully under consideration at Gulbarga, Karanata and Bangalore universities and a few other subjects are still pending) are due to end by August 15, even for the semester in September. , For which dates will be announced soon, he said.

He stressed that communication classes will be held for the convenience of the students in writing the exams and they can go to get any clarity or clear any doubts and go for exam preparation.

Regarding the vaccination of higher education students, 5 percent of the students studying in government and government aided institutions have been vaccinated. Considering that there are many students from other states and other districts, the current progress is satisfactory, Narayan said.

He said a decision on opening regular classes for degree classes would be taken in 3-4 days after consultation with Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa.
