For any university, infrastructure is one of the most important tools along with other requirements including quality education, practical exposure and extra curriculum.

According to the study, the most important element of a good academic infrastructure that contributes to their career- Buildings, classrooms, laboratories, equipment.

GLA University Spread over 110 acres of land and housing more than 10,000 candidates of which about 5,000 students live in campus hostels. It has a state-of-the-art infrastructure which includes air-conditioned, IT-enabled classrooms, conference rooms, faculty cabins, etc. From classrooms to playgrounds, from laboratories to libraries and from hostels to cafeterias, everything at GLA is built with infinite attention and taking into account the aspirations of the students.

The lecture hall– GLA University has 227 classrooms designed like amphitheaters so that teachers can pay equal attention to all students. Of these, 65 are tutorial rooms. Internet facilities are also available on computers at the university.

Cafeteria– Food makes you healthy and energetic. We believe in HHH (healthy, wholesome and homestyle) in GLA. Healthy- We want our students to eat healthy food, stay healthy and look healthy. Healthy- We believe that food alone is not enough for the body, healthy food is our priority. Homestyle- Students living in hostels should stay away from home.

Playground

GLA believes in the continuous mental and physical growth of students. In addition to academic knowledge, we give equal importance to additional curricula. The campus has space for all major outdoor sports such as football, cricket, hockey, badminton, basketball, volleyball, athletics. GLA enhances the skills of students interested in sports. We have tried our best to give our students the benefit of almost every sport.

We have athletics track, badminton court, basketball court, cricket ground, football ground, handball ground, volleyball court, chess hall, table tennis hall, lawn tennis. Hostellers have an added advantage because they can practice on the field after their class. The discipline, hard work and team skills that go with any sport are held at the highest level of the university and this is why GLA’s various sports teams have received praise from other organizations.

Library– To access knowledge, the library is essential. Here at GLA, we have a central library which is the information center of the university. We provide digital and print format facilities to our students.

We do our best to provide our students with books in every segment. Our university’s central library is a member of Delnet which connects 5,000 libraries across the country and is also a member of the National Digital Library.

Laboratories– Theory is incomplete without practical implementation. Therefore, we provide you with the best practical knowledge through our advanced laboratories.

GLA University has a total of 157 well-equipped labs where students gain experience in various emerging technologies through which they have the opportunity to enhance their practical understanding of how a particular event works.

Hostel

Home away from home

GLA University provides well-equipped hostel facilities to its external candidates. Separate facilities for boys and girls, caring wardens and strict security guarantee you a pleasant stay to focus on your educators. We have 15 boys hostels with accommodation capacity of 4300+ boys and 4 girls hostels with seating capacity of 1400 girls. A newly built -00-room hostel The World Architectural Community UK has been awarded one of the top 11 architectural designs in the world.

Gymnasium

All hostels on campus are equipped with gymnasium and fitness centers for both boys and girls. Equipment such as treadmills, exercise bikes and the latest health-based equipment are available to students and faculty and staff members so they can benefit from them.

Dispensary

The essential purpose of Healing is to maintain a holistic approach to the physical well-being of our students, faculty and support staff. Our goal is to provide 24×7 prompt and effective medical, surgical and psychosocial support to all staff and residents of the GLA campus.

The GLA University provides extraordinary intellectual opportunities to showcase the field of research and innovation.

Entrepreneur Cell- Entrepreneur Cell, GLA University is a non-profit, strategically invented, value-based organization whose main goal is to influence young minds and create it led by student entrepreneurs.

Newsen IEDC– New Generation Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Center (Newgen IEDC) is a program launched by the National Science and Technology Entrepreneur Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. Young S&T encourages and supports start-up creation among students through innovation and entrepreneurship, guidance, advice and support.

CSED – Industry 4.0 facility

The Center for Skills and Entrepreneurship Development (CSED) in collaboration with GLA University Dismac Competency Services (DCS) has established a functioning industry where students will come into contact with the ecosystem of the industry with project-based learning activities.
