LIMA: Indian shooters Anish Vanwala, Adarsh ​​Singh and Vijaybir Sidhu have teamed up to win gold in the men’s 25m rapid rapid fire pistol team event as the country finished the ISSF Junior World Championships at the top of the standings here.
The Indian trio beat their German opponents Fabian Otto, Felix Luka Halfath and Tobias Goswell (2) to score a total of 10 goals in the Indian gold medal competition on Friday.

India’s Manvi Soni (105) won the junior double trap gold medal from compatriot Yesha Hafeez Contractor (90). Hitsha (76) won bronze in an event where only Indians were present.
Binoy Pratap Singh Chandrawat scored 120 in the men’s double trap event, silver to Sahajpreet Singh (114) and bronze to Mayank Shokin (/ 111).
Earlier on Friday, Ayushi Poddar and Ishwari Pratap Singh Tomar won silver in the 50m Rifle 3 position mixed team event to continue India’s dominance in the tournament.

Ayushi and Ishwari scored 1 shot in the gold medal match and the German pair Max Brown and Anna Janssen came in second with 1 shot. The Indian couple topped the qualifying round with a score of 59090, with the gold medalists in second place.
Nischal and Sartaj Singh Tiwana’s other Indian team are eighth in the qualifying round with 574 scores.
This happened after the Indian Rhythm Sangwan and the winner Sidhu 25m rapid rapid fire pistol mixed team won the gold medal.
Sangwan and Sidhu won the 10th gold of the ongoing Indian event by defeating Kanyakorn Hirunfoem and Showakon Trinifakorn of Thailand 9-1.
The country also claimed bronze medals in the event with a 10-8 win over Tejaswani and Anish Chaisa Paduka and another Thai team in Ram Khamhang.
In the junior women’s 50m rifle 3 position, fame went to the American trio of Elizabeth McGinn, Lauren Zawan and Caroline Tucker of the Great, Niskal and Ayushi Poddar to win silver medals. The Indians were defeated by a margin of -4–4.
Table-toppers India finished the tournament with med0 medals including 1 Table Gold, 11 Silver and Bronze Bronze. The United States is in second place with 6 gold, silver and 6 bronze.
