Inclusive classrooms will help children understand challenges facing country: Dharmendra Pradhan | India News – Times of India

New Delhi: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday called on schools to reflect on how inclusive our leading schools are and what more can be done to ensure that every child in the country gets the best education.
The chief made the remarks in his virtual address during the 82nd Indian Public Schools Conference (IPSC) Principals Conclave organized by Dun School.
“The National Education Policy (2020) focuses on equitable and inclusive education with special emphasis on socially and economically disadvantaged groups. An inclusive classroom benefits everyone from countless experiences and perspectives and understands the various challenges facing this country.
“I urge all schools participating in the Conclave to reflect on how inclusive our leading schools are and what more can be done to ensure that every child in the country receives the best education possible,” said Pradhan.
The Minister said that a wise person is the building block of a beautiful society, a just society and a progressive society.
“The will to learn, apply and advance that knowledge has advanced humanity as far as it is concerned, from discovering fire to farming, flying across the sky and floating among the stars. It is the duty of each one of us to give our children the basic right to education, Do what is best to manage and make our country and this world a better, more inclusive place, ”he said.
The IPSC, since its inception in 1939, has guided public schools in India to build a tradition that also builds the character and personality of students, a well-rounded education entrepreneur.
The annual meeting, which began with some residential schools, now has 81 schools, including military schools and military schools.
