IIM-V Executive MBA Batch Dominates Public Sector Employees – Times of India

VISAKHAPATNAM: Public sector enterprise executives and senior government officials will now dominate the new Executive MBA batch of the Institute of Management-Visakhapatnam, replacing the previous batches. About 40% of the students admitted in the new batch belong to various PSUs and government agencies. Typically, most of IIMs for executive programs come from the corporate sector.

These ambitious professionals represent top companies such as Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, TCS, HSBC, Tata International, HPCL, L&T, BARC as well as public sector banks, pharma, healthcare and infrastructure companies.

With their work profile, profession and experience, these students form a diverse group of experienced professionals. IIM-V on Saturday launched the third batch of a two-year postgraduate program for experienced professionals (PGPEX) to pursue an MBA degree from IIM-V. Item over 30. As part of their corporate social responsibility work, private sector organizations and PSUs may consider conducting quality capacity building programs to enable government employees to actually join the point.
