ICAI CA December 2021: Important Guidelines

– Candidates will be allowed to carry the following items inside the examination hall – Face Mask (compulsory), Face Shield (optional), Hand Gloves (optional), Personal Clear Water Bottle, Personal Small Hand Sanitizer, Exam Items / Documents. As directed (Calculator, Stationery Item, Admit Card, Photo ID Card, etc.)


– All staff in charge of the test must wear gloves and masks for their safety and the safety of others during the test practice.

– Candidates are asked to wear their own mask, carry their own water bottle and carry 50/100 ml sanitizer bottle; The examination centers will ensure that the superintendent will keep masks for the examinees who will need masks or report any defects in the masks while appearing in the examinations. Also, adequate amount of hand sanitizer should be made available at important places and at the entrance inside the test center all day during the test.

– The test center will ensure deep sanitation of test rooms, common areas and toilets to ensure safety and cleanliness every day after the test so that safety requirements are met on the day after the test.


– Adequate amount of liquid handwash / soap should be provided in the washroom for hand washing.

– Test centers will deploy a sufficient number of thermoguns to check the temperature of the test takers and all staff on duty at the entry point. Candidates / staff who do not meet the prescribed temperature limit will be asked not to enter the venue and where such candidates are being denied entry to the hall, their details must be written in the attendance register.

– When candidates carry their own water bottles, the center will ensure availability of adequate number of packaged water bottles.


– The examination center will provide additional notice boards, display marks, etc. to guide the candidates / staff to display the location / seating plan of the room in a suitable place to assist the candidates.

– The test centers will identify the different branches of their premises separately and highlight them as Wing A, B etc. Each branch will have a separate test center. Each wing will have as much separate access as possible.

– Test centers will deploy adequate staff at the entry points so that no crowds accumulate and proper social distance is maintained.


– The test center also draws attention to the guidelines issued by the center superintendent for the candidates connected with instant communication to give a complete integrated bird view of the SOPs / guidelines in the ICAI test center.

– When the admission form is printed online, the candidates have to give their consent to follow the various guidelines issued by the government authorities as well as ICAI through a pledge. They will also acknowledge that they are participating in the test with the full consent and permission of their parents / guardians.

– Candidates have to plan their departure after 5.00 pm in such a way that candidates are allowed to leave on the basis of room-based occupancy to ensure their departure in a stagnant manner while maintaining a suitable time interval between departures. Two rooms.

– As an exception to the COVID-19 precaution, candidates will be allowed to leave the test center from 4:00 PM and will be allowed to enter the test center from 1.00 PM for the December 2021 exam.
