New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Infinity Forum, a thought-provoking forum of Fintech, through video conferencing at 10 am on Friday.
The event is being organized by the International Financial Services Authority (IFSCA) on December 3 and 4, 2021 under the auspices of the Government of India in collaboration with GIFT City and Bloomberg. Indonesia, South Africa and the United Kingdom are the 6 partner countries The first edition of the forum was announced by the Prime Minister’s Office in a press release.
The Infinity Forum will bring together the world’s leading thinkers in policy, business and technology and provide effective insights into how technology and innovation can be used by the fintech industry for inclusive growth and to serve humanity more broadly.
The forum’s agenda will focus on ‘Beyond’ themes with various sub-themes, including Fintech Beyond Boundary, focusing on governments and businesses across geographical boundaries to develop a global stack to promote financial inclusion; Outside of fintech finance by merging with emerging sectors such as Spacetech, Greentech and Agritech to drive sustainable development; And FinTech Beyond Next, focuses on how quantum computing can influence the nature of the fintech industry in the future and promote new opportunities.
The forum will witness participation from more than 70 countries. The keynote speakers at the forum were Malaysian Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul Aziz, Indonesian Finance Minister Muliani Indravati, Indonesian Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga S. Uno, Reliance Industries Chairman and MD Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and CEO of Softbank Group S. And CEO, IBM Corporation Arvind Krishna, MD and CEO Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. Uday Kotak, among others. NITI Aayog, Invest India, FICCI and NASSCOM are some of the key partners in this year’s forum.
The International Financial Services Center Authority (IFSCA), GIFT City, Gandhinagar is headquartered in Gujarat, established under the International Financial Services Center Authority Act, 2019.
