Entrance test for professional course may be held – Times of India

Prayagraj: After facing delays in admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses, the authorities of Allahabad University may soon start the process of admission to professional courses including five-year law courses.

Earlier, the Ministry of Education had asked the varsity authorities to send details of the courses taught by the EU so that a general entrance test for admission could be held in all the central universities of the country. It is proposed to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) which will facilitate admission to all central universities in the country, including the EU.

Meanwhile, the EU administration has decided to go ahead with the admission system for its own professional courses. The plan is to prepare for the plan and if the ministry says it will also take exams for professional courses, the process will be postponed.

“Since the whole process of conducting an entrance exam requires preparation for at least two months, we have decided to prepare for the selected professional courses conducted on campus including all the courses conducted under the institute and then proceed with the entrance exam. Professional Studies (IPS) ”, said Director Admission, Professor IR Siddiqui.
