DSEU’s new course to diversify students – Times of India

Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) has launched a new BBA course in facilities and hygiene management. DSEU has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with JLL India, a leading professional services company. It will be one of the major partners in designing the BBA curriculum in facilities and hygiene management. The course will be introduced from the new academic year starting from November. Students of any stream who get 50% marks in class XII can apply.

Through this course, students will be taught everything necessary for facility management such as information on various chemicals used to clean surfaces, waste management. , Practice around sustainability. ”

“It also includes information on the management process around improved equipment and facility management for cleanliness. Course curriculum includes hygiene infrastructure for hospitals, airports, malls and restaurants. In the third year, students choose their specialized field. Of course, the campus will arrange regular training modules for students.

Vora added that Desu plans to invite faculty from abroad to let students know about global trends and give them practical exposure.

Priyanshi Mani, Associate Head (Academics), DSEU, said, “This course covers topics related to outsourcing components of the course to the outsourcing component of the facility management industry in the field of facility management services such as pantry management, travel desk, healthcare, hygiene, housekeeping and technical and engineering services. In order to diversify, topics such as sustainability of waste management will also be covered, which will include soft service, technical services, sustainability and waste management components.

The 6th semester will have functional specialties with different sectors. The course offers multiple entry and exit points based on NEP 2020 guidelines. “If a student leaves the course within a year, he or she will be awarded a diploma, which will be in the position of Facility Management Supervisor.”
