Deadline for finalization of Class XII results is July 22, CBSE officials to work on gazetted leave Times of India

NEW DELHI: With the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announcing Class 12 results by July 31, the board has said that CBSE officials will work on a gazetted leave tomorrow to ensure that the results are released on time.

According to a recent official notice issued by the CBSE, board officials will work from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on a gazetted holiday to complete the process of tabulation of 2121 results of the 12th CBSE results on Wednesday. The Board further stated that this step has been taken to complete the process within the time frame and publish the results in a timely manner.

In a letter from Dr. Sanyam Bharadwaj, the CBSE Controller said, “You are aware that the country is celebrating Eid on July 21, 2021. Accordingly, July 21 has been declared a Gazetted Holiday. Furthermore, all schools affiliated to CBSE are 10th and 12th.” Preparing for class results. The final date for finalizing Class XII results is July 22, 2021 ”

The CBSE said that to meet the deadline and to assist the schools, all the regional offices, CBSE and the examination department, CBSE headquarters will be open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

CBSE has also received some queries and requests from schools through e-mail / WhatsApp etc. In this case, FAQs are being developed and it is expected that the same will be provided to all schools by noon, so schools can take appropriate action.

“I am sure that together we can meet the deadline for completion of Class XII results and in the process, schools may face some problems due to the results being prepared in this manner for the first time. However, CBSE is committed to providing services to the best schools”, read the letter.

Meanwhile, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) said that the tabulation portal of the 11th and 12th amendments has been open since July 16. In a letter to the approved schools, the board said the portal would be closed on July 22. Results announced by 31 July.

In view of the uncertain situation due to COVD and the feedback received from various stakeholders, it was decided on June 1 that the Twelfth Board Examination would not be held this year. It was also decided that CBSE would take steps to compile the results of Class XII students in a time bound manner as per the well-defined objective criteria.
