While university engineering colleges and other institutions are able to give exams online, of course the government can do the same for other affiliated colleges, ”Amir Javed told reporters after meeting the education minister.

Noting that a number of educational institutions are also conducting online mode exams in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, the Congress leader said the minister promised to take their representation seriously but added that the government needs to consider the interests of rural students as they all have online resources.

The Minister also spoke to Telangana State Higher Education Council Chairman T. Papi Reddy) and Collegiate and Technical Education Commissioner Naveen Mittal and asked them to look into the issue of conducting online examinations for undergraduate students of Osmania University and JNTU.
