Realizing the market demand and the demand of prominent brands, CBSE hopes to build a workforce by helping them learn the finer things at an early age. “It is important to know the type of manpower that is emphasized in domains like beauty salon space, cosmetic sector and nail painting sector. This requirement is being met through representation of B&WSSC. Accordingly, curriculum is being developed and content is being created with the help of art so that students are art-ready after completing the course. ”

“Teachers will be trained according to industry standards. An agreement has been signed with B&WSSC for timely input, content development, teacher training and future evaluation where their involvement is possible. ”

This agreement with the B&WSSC will provide students with hands-on experience and create a conducive environment for teaching vocational courses on school premises. This course is a complete subject for ninth to twelfth grades and for sixth to eighth grades it is only 15-20 hours module per year, Saha added.

Monica Bahl, CEO, B&WSSC, said, “Our goal is to train school children in accordance with the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF). We want to establish an effective and efficient eco-system to develop and deliver skills in the beauty and wellness industry, including content, curriculum, courses, information databases, delivery systems, accreditation standards and the certification process, to enhance the employment of the Indian workforce. With globally recognized standards in the beauty and yoga sub-sector. We are actively working to facilitate employment, including self-employment opportunities for certified candidates. ”

“Multiple career options are available for candidates in sectors like tourism, hospitality, media, aviation, retail and social media. Many of these sectors are directly and indirectly associated with beauty salons, yoga, fitness, spas and rejuvenation, products and sales, quality assurance and customer service. These courses provide huge opportunities for small entrepreneurs. ”
