Meanwhile, the Railways on Wednesday suspended its Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) and Level 1 examinations while candidates were harassing some states for alleged irregularities in the process, with Minister Ashwini Vaishnav urging them not to destroy their public property and promising redress. Their complaint.
On Tuesday, the railways issued a general notice, warning its job seekers that those involved in vandalism and illegal activities during protests would be barred from hiring on the railways. It came a day after protesters in several parts of Bihar sat on the railway tracks.
Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Bhadra also condemned the “harassment” of the candidates and urged the government to resolve their issues through dialogue.
