Prayagraj: After some delays in the admission process for the next academic session (2021-22), the Allahabad University Authority (AU) has announced the date of entrance examination for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered at AU and its statutory colleges.

According to the Director Admission Information, Prof. IR Siddiqui, “The schedule of the entrance examination date is for UG and PG courses, LLB, LLM, courses offered by the Institute of Professional (IPS) of AU and for BEd and MEd”.

According to the current schedule, the entrance test will start from October 18 where the admission to PG Vocational Course (PGAT-2) and IPS will be held online in two ways.

On October 20, the entrance test for PGAT-2 will be held online in two shifts. On the same date, entrance exams for UGAT, BA, LLB, MCom and LLM will be held both online and offline. The entrance test for this course will also be held on next date (October 21).

The entrance test for the course under IPS will be held online on October 22 in two shifts. The next day (October 2), the first shift IPS entrance test will be held.

The entrance test for LLB for PAGAT-1 (which includes regular courses like MA and MSc) will be held on October 2 in two shifts. These entrance exams will be conducted both online and offline, the admissions director said.


“Considering the guidelines issued by the government for testing the Kovid-1 pandemic epidemic and the spread of the disease, the wearing of masks has been made mandatory for the candidates and the admission cards of the candidates will carry all the instructions and precautions. One person has to follow, ”said the director of admission.

He added that the number of test centers would be even higher, as the concept of social distance would be strictly adhered to. However, the final number of test centers will be decided only when we get the exact number of candidates.
