Before schools reopen, students and teachers will be vaccinated three days a week. Single-dose vaccination has been made mandatory for both students and teachers, but those under the age of 18 in the twelfth grade have been relaxed because there is still no vaccine for them.
“Heads of educational institutions have to prepare a list of teachers, non-teaching staff, employees and students who need to be vaccinated and are scheduled to be vaccinated on Thursday, Friday and Saturday for three days,” said state health minister Keshab Mahanta.

Vaccinated students, teachers and support staff will also be allowed to start with at least one dose of GNM (general nursing and midwifery), nursing courses and physical classes at technical institutes, read the SOP.
Thirty is the maximum number of students who will be allowed in a classroom and will be divided into sections to maintain their covid protocol. To stay in the hostel, final year students, wardens and other staff must get both doses, Mahanta added.
The state government has finally allowed inter-district public transport from Wednesday after more than three months. But no passenger will be allowed to stand. Also, passengers must be vaccinated with at least the first dose. Odd-even bans for vehicles have been lifted. At least one person on a motorcycle can be vaccinated and both can be allowed to wear masks, the SOP said.
Honorable district commissioners of the districts have been given the power to declare areas as containment zones where more than 10 cases of covid have been registered in the last seven days.
The night curfew has been extended from 9 pm to 5 am. All offices, government and private, will function normally but not after 8pm, the SOP said.
Picking up food items from all business and commercial establishments, restaurants, hotels, resorts, dhabas and other eateries, restaurants and hababa and other restaurants, opening sales counters, cold storage and warehouse showrooms, grocers, fruit shops. And vegetable, dairy and milk booths and animal feed are allowed to remain open until 8 p.m.
Meetings and rallies in open or closed spaces will be allowed if 50 people shoot first and report to local police. Religious places are allowed to open with 40 single dose vaccinated persons per hour per hour and for other religious places with 20 single dose vaccinated persons per hour per person. Cinema and theater halls will remain closed until further review.
