Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has been shifted to a common room after a negative test for Covid-1 for, the superintendent of Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail, where he has filed a drug seizure case after his arrest. The official also said that five more people arrested in the case have been removed from the quarantine barracks of the jail.

“Aryan Khan and five others were transferred from the prison’s quarantine barracks to the general cell after their cowardly report came back negative,” news agency ANI quoted Arthur Road prison superintendent Nitin Vechal as saying.

Aryan Khan, 23, was sent to Arthur Road Jail after being denied bail in a drug seizure case.

The NCB alleges that Aryan Khan – accused No. 1 – named drug – and “was in contact with some people abroad who appear to be part of an international drug network for illegal purchase of drugs”.

The WhatsApp chat revealed that the accused had contacted a foreign national for large quantities of hard drugs, “the anti-drug agency said, adding that so far the investigation has revealed his role in the conspiracy.

The NCB said all of the detainees were “inextricably linked to each other” and “it is not possible to implicate one defendant in the role of another.” “The elements of the conspiracy are clear and unambiguous,” the agency said, adding that “one of the applicants cannot be considered in isolation”.

Aryan Khan arrested his friend Arbaaz Merchant (Accused No. 2) and six others after a drug raid on a cruise on the Mumbai coast on October 2.

Aryan’s parents Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan have not yet commented on his arrest and charges. Many in the film industry like Salman Khan, Farah Khan and Hrithik Roshan have come forward to support Khan.
