“In case of granting COBSE membership in DBSE, secondary and higher secondary examinations are conducted and the certificate issued by it will be equivalent to the corresponding certificate of other COBSE board members” (COBSE) which is responsible for verifying the accreditation / recognition of School Education Board of India.
Earlier, the Governing Council of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), an inter-university organization representing universities in India, approved the DBSE proposal and decided to give “Delhi School Education Board, Delhi equivalents”, CBSE and With other recognized boards in India “.
With these approvals, students who pass out of DBSE school will have universal recognition and acceptance, just like the certificates issued by CBSE and other recognized boards. Marksheets and certificates issued by DBSE will be accepted by all recognized boards and universities.
Earlier this year, the Delhi government approved the formation of the DBSE at one end of the year, to move away from the root-learning-based testing system and instead create a framework for continuous assessment. 300 schools are affiliated with DBSE in the current academic year.
According to the Delhi government’s plan, all government schools in Delhi will be affiliated to DBSE in the next few years. In addition, the city’s accredited private schools will also have the option of associating themselves with the DBSE.
Recently, the Delhi government signed an agreement in collaboration with International Backlute (IB), an internationally recognized organization with attendance in 5,500 schools in 159 countries.
