Candidates have to read the rules of engineering service examination advertised by the government. Candidates applying for the exam should be sure that they have fulfilled all the eligibility conditions for admission in the exam.

Their admission at all stages of the examination will be a completely temporary matter to meet the prescribed eligibility conditions. Issuing a candidate’s e-admission certificate does not mean that his candidature has finally been approved by the commission. The Commission accepts the verification of eligibility conditions along with the reference of the original document only after the candidate has qualified in the Personality Test.

(A) has obtained a degree in University Engineering from a University affiliated to a law of other educational institutions established by law of the Central or State Legislature or Parliament in India or declared as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; Or

(b) has passed sections A and B of the Institutional Examination of the Institution of Engineers (India); Or

(c) a degree / diploma in engineering from a foreign university / college / institution and on such terms as may be recognized by the Government from time to time, or

(d) Passed the Graduation Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India); Or

(e) has passed Parts II and III / Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India Associate Membership Examination; Or
