Andre Iguodala will return Golden State Warriors For his 19th and final NBA season, the four-time NBA champion announced Friday.
Iguodala, who spent his seven 18 seasons with the Warriorsmade the announcement on his “PointForward” podcast
“I’ll be back in my 19th season myself,” Iguodala said, “and ET [Evan Turner] and i will be Return to the NBA To give you access to our “pointforward” duties back, “pointforward” duties and what’s happening in the NBA throughout the season.

Last season, Iguodala averaged 4.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 19.5 minutes per game as Golden State won its fourth title in eight years.
Iguodala said he retired himself for most of the summer until his teammates and the front office convinced him to come back.

“I’m going to blame some people,” Iguodala said. “Steph Curry is one person I’m going to blame. But, as a team, I’m going to blame Draymond. [Green]Steph and Clay [Thompson]. Steve Kerr a little bit, Bob Myers, I think they showed me a lot of love.

“They really helped me physically see my presence outside of playing basketball, but I think Steve was a big offender, saying, ‘Listen, we really need you on the court.’ Draymond was big on that, too.”
Iguodala said he looks forward to mentoring younger players in his final season on the Warriors.
“I’m looking forward to playing, but I’m also carrying on [Jonathan] Kuminga, and I’m on Moses Moody and I’m on the youth,” Iguodala said. “I’m letting them know if I go on this court, you’re not doing anything right.”
