New Delhi: The Indian Navy has released the Admit Card Matric Recruit (MR) – April 2022 batch on its official website.

Candidates, who have applied for the Indian Navy MR Recruitment Examination, can download their Admission Card through the Candidate Login Official Website.

Indian Navy MR April 2022 Batch will be conducted in December 2021. The merit list will be available on the website – www.joinindiannavy.gov.in by the end of March 2022. All the candidates appearing in the merit list will be called for admission medical in INS Chilka. Candidates for written test and PFT will be shortlisted on the basis of percentage of eligibility test (tenth test).

Written test

Question papers will be bilingual (Hindi and English) and objective type. The question paper will have two sections namely Science and Mathematics and General Knowledge. The standard of the question paper will be 10th level and the syllabus for the examination is available on the website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. The duration of the test will be 30 minutes. All the candidates participating in the written test will be subject to PFT on the same day.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

Eligibility in the physical fitness test is mandatory for selection. The PFT 1.6km race is completed in 7 minutes, consisting of 20 squats and 10 push-ups. Candidates under PFT will do so at their own risk.

Merit list of MR will be prepared on the basis of performance in written test subject to qualification PFT. About 400 candidates will be issued call-up letters for the medical examination for enrollment in INS Chilka on the basis of state-wise qualifications.

Vacancies will be determined on a state-wise basis. For a total of 300 vacancies, approximately 1500 candidates will be called for written test and Physical Fitness Test (PFT). Cut-off marks for participation in the written test may vary from state to state.

Those who have successfully submitted the application form and examination fee or are entitled to waive the examination fee will be issued an Admit Card for the online examination.

The selection of recruiters is based on the state-based qualifications of their performance in computer-based examinations, subject to physical fitness tests (PFT) and fitness in medical examinations.

Computer based tests.

(a) The question paper will be computer based with a total of 50 questions, each with 01 number.

(b) Question papers will be bilingual (Hindi and English) and objective type (multiple choice).

(c) The question paper will have two sections namely Science and Mathematics and General Knowledge.

(d) The standard of the question paper will be 10th class syllabus and sample papers are available on the website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.

(E) The duration of the test will be 30 minutes.

(f) Candidates must pass in all sections and overall. The Navy reserves the right to determine the pass mark in each section and overall.


Punishment for wrong answer

Candidates should keep in mind that there will be penalty (negative marking) for wrong answer identified by the candidate in the question paper. There are four options for answering each question. For each question given a wrong answer by the candidate, one-fourth (0.25) of the number allotted for that question will be deducted as penalty.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

(a) Qualification in Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is mandatory for selection.

(b) PFT consists of 1.6 km race to complete in 7 minutes, 20 squat ups and 10 push-ups. Candidates under PFT will do so at their own risk.

Training


The training of the course will start in April 2022, after 15 weeks of initial training at INS Chilka, professional training in trade assigned to various naval training companies. Branch / trade will be allocated as per the requirement of the service.
