108 scholars participated in the research conference of FM University – Times of India

Bhubaneswar: Fakir Mohan University Balasore on Monday hosted the Research Scholars Conclave-2021 where scholars from various disciplines of the university came together to talk about their research topics, showcase their work and seek advice from eminent researchers and subject matter experts.

The key to this practice is to improve the quality of research work. 108 MPhil and PhD scholars from the six categories of Commerce and Management, Literature and Language, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Social Sciences and Educational Sciences participated in the Conclave to showcase their work by presenting posters in front of experts.

“As scholars are starting or doing their research work, this conference will help them improve their work and add value to their projects with the help of eminent scientists and subject matter experts,” said Santosh Kumar Tripathi, vice-chancellor of the university. He said six scholars in six categories have received the best research paper award. “This conclave will be an annual event. We have taken all steps to maintain transparency and quality in the research work, ”he added.

Three scholars from the PG Department of Applied Physics and Ballistics have conducted ‘Dark Energy, Accelerated Expansion’ and ‘Loop Quantum’ to study the current expansion of the universe using a simple interactive dark energy model in the context of the loop quantum cosmos. .

Other scholars in the Department of PG Bioscience and Biotechnology presented their work on ‘Exploration of Cyanobacterial Species for Phytohormonal Indole-3-Acetic Acid Synthesis’. Some of them have also discussed research in literature.

Scholars have spoken with subject matter experts at the Conclave. Some experts have suggested revisions, changes and additions to research topics.

Meanwhile, the Orissa State Council for Higher Education (OSHEC) will bring the Orissa Research Conclave-2021 next month to Bhubaneswar to monitor the work of young researchers in the state, a conversation among scholars said.

For the first time in the state, researchers from across subjects and state universities will come together to talk about their research work and showcase their work in front of experts.

OSHEC has already extended an abstract invitation to present posters at this conclave. Researchers from the University of Orissa’s Research and Innovation Stimulus Plan (OURIIP) program and scholars from various state universities and various organizations like the University Grants Commission (UGC) can participate in the two-day conversation by receiving research grants.
